# Founderhop > Founderhop is a free website for live 1-on-1 video chat between verified founders and business owners from around the world. Members sign up with a business email, meet one founder at a time, and press Hop to meet the next. Calls are never recorded. Founderhop was created by Yash Gupta, Founder of Founderhop. ## Key facts - What it is: A free website for live 1-on-1 video chat between verified founders and business owners. Each call is with one member at a time, picked at random. - Where: Worldwide. There is no country restriction: anyone with a business email can join from any country, and matching is random, so a call can be with a founder in another country or time zone. The site is in English. - Who can join: Founders, co-founders and business owners who have a business email address. - How members are verified: A one-time 6-digit code is sent to a business email. Free email providers such as Gmail are not accepted. Members also give their name, business and role, and can add a LinkedIn profile, and the team removes anyone who is not who they say they are. - What other members see: On a call, your name, role, company and country. The country is worked out from your connection and is never your city. Your email address and LinkedIn link are never shown. - How a call starts: One click in the lobby pairs you with a random verified member on live video. Pressing Hop moves you to the next person. - Cost: Free to join and use while Founderhop launches. - Video and recording: Video and audio travel directly between the two browsers (WebRTC), encrypted in transit, or through an encrypted relay if a direct connection is not possible. Founderhop never records calls. - Chat: A text chat sits next to the video, and links can be shared in it. Chat messages are not stored, except that the last messages of a chat are saved for review if a member reports it. - Safety: Members can report someone in one tap. A reported member is never matched with the reporter again, the team reviews every report, and people who break the rules are banned. - Devices: Works in the browser on phones and laptops (Chrome or Safari). There is no app to install. - Founder: Yash Gupta - Contact: hello@founderhop.com ## Main pages - [Home](https://founderhop.com/): What Founderhop is, how it works, safety, and frequently asked questions. - [About Founderhop](https://founderhop.com/about): Facts about the product and the founder. - [Privacy policy](https://founderhop.com/privacy): What is collected and what is never done with it. - [Terms of service](https://founderhop.com/terms): The rules for using Founderhop. ## Blog - [25 Founder Networking Conversation Starters](https://founderhop.com/blog/founder-networking-conversation-starters): 25 conversation starters for a 5-minute founder video call, grouped by goal, plus a simple format so the chat never goes quiet or turns into a pitch. - [How to Find a Co-Founder: A Step-by-Step Guide](https://founderhop.com/blog/how-to-find-a-co-founder): A practical 7-step guide to finding a co-founder: decide what you need, where to look, how to test the fit, and how to agree on roles, equity and vesting. - [How to Get Honest Startup Feedback From Other Founders](https://founderhop.com/blog/how-to-get-honest-startup-feedback-from-founders): How to ask other founders for feedback that is honest and useful: what to show, which questions to ask, and how to avoid polite but empty answers. - [How to Meet Other Founders Online: 8 Ways That Work](https://founderhop.com/blog/how-to-meet-other-founders-online): Eight ways to meet other founders online, from live video chats to co-founder matching and communities.
